I. DELIVERY

Delivery is understood as the transfer to the Customer of the physical possession of the Products (the "Delivery"). The Delivery charges applicable to the Order are those mentioned on the Site at the time of the Order in the present section "Delivery and Returns".

Deliveries are carried out from Monday to Friday, by the services of Colissimo, Mondial Relay, and B2C Europe depending on the option chosen by the Customer when validating their Order.

Please note that, although legally part of France, the DOM-TOM countries (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, and French Polynesia) are not deliverable by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE. However (and this applies to all other countries not included in our delivery offer), an exception may be granted if the Customer agrees to pay the applicable shipping costs themselves.

The risk is transferred to the Customer upon handing the Product to the carrier when it is loaded for transport by the Customer and not by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE.

Delivery is made to the delivery address provided by the Customer, with the stipulation that it must be the Customer’s residence address, the address of a physical person of their choice, or a legal entity (delivery to their company). Delivery cannot be made to hotels or PO boxes. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the proper routing of their Order and the perfect Delivery (street number, building number, staircase, access code, intercom names and/or numbers, etc.).

In the event of inability to make the Delivery due to an incorrect delivery address or the Customer’s failure to collect their Order from the selected pickup point or Colissimo, and in the case where no reshipment can be made, the Customer will be fully refunded the amount of their Order by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE.

LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE delivers Orders within a maximum principle period of 12 (twelve) business days for Delivery within Metropolitan France and 20 (twenty) business days for international Delivery, this period being counted from the day after the Order validation. On the day after the launch of a collection and during periods of high traffic (sales, Christmas) holidays, the Delivery period may be extended by 10 (ten) days, due to the significant and exceptional volume of Orders.

In order for these periods to be respected, the Customer must ensure that they have provided accurate and complete information regarding the Delivery address (such as, in particular: street number, building number, staircase, access codes, intercom names and/or numbers, etc.).

LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE cannot be held responsible for delays in transit not caused by them or justified by a force majeure event (as defined below).

In the event of exceeding the Delivery period, the Customer may request the cancellation of the sale and obtain, within a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days from their request in this respect, a refund of the amounts paid for the Order. Notwithstanding the above, LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE cannot be held responsible for any damaging consequences resulting from a transit delay, only a refund of the Product by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE is possible excluding any other form of compensation.

Delivery is deemed to be carried out upon making the Order available to the Customer in person.

II. REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Any non-professional consumer has a right of withdrawal which they may exercise without penalty. In the event of the Customer exercising this right, the Product must be returned to LPE ONLINE – LA PETITE ÉTOILE within 30 (thirty) days (starting the day of receipt of the Products). Beyond this 30 (thirty) day period, the sale is firm and final. The Product must be returned if possible in its original packaging, necessarily in its original condition, that is to say new, unworn, and unwashed. To avoid any deterioration, any leather Product must be returned in its protective sheath. Similarly, bags and shoes must also be returned with the provided padding as well as the original boxes. 

The exercise of the right of withdrawal must be carried out by making a return request on the Account. To do this, the Customer must go to a return portal accessible via the following link: https://returns.bigblue.co/la-petite-etoile (also available at the bottom of the site page under the title « MAKE A RETURN ») and follow the corresponding instructions to make their request. A withdrawal form must be filled out thoroughly. In this eventuality, LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE communicates to the Customer a receipt on a durable medium.  The Customer can also contact customer service directly by sending an email specifying their order number, the Product concerned, and the reason for return, which they will send to: bonjour@lapetiteetoile.com

Returning the Products is the responsibility of the Customer and at their own risk. After validating their request with customer service, they will receive a return label via Mondial Relay to affix to their package to send it without charge*. In consideration of This coverage of return shipping costs by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE*, the initial shipping costs will not be included in the refund*.

When the parcel is dropped off at a Mondial Relay, a return deposit confirmation will be sent to the customer by email within forty-eight (48) business hours. 

Note that any purchase made on LPE ONLINE – LA PETITE ÉTOILE can only be returned on the LPE ONLINE – LA PETITE ÉTOILE website. No returns will be accepted at LA PETITE ETOILE physical retail locations. 

Refund is subject to LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE having been able to recover the Products originally delivered. Unless the Customer decides otherwise, LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE will process the refund using the same payment method that was used to pay for the Order. Please note that for the return to be correctly identified, it is imperative to include the purchase invoice in the return package to allow our logistics partner to track your return case and proceed with your proper refund. 

However, the customer can use another method of accreditation. The customer can opt to issue a credit note instead of a refund, corresponding to the full amount paid for the initial order. The validity period of the credit note is twelve (12) months from the date of issuance and can only be used on our online website. The refund of an order paid with an E-gift card will be recredited to it. 

If the Customer fails to comply with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE will not be able to proceed with the refund of the affected Products. In any case, return shipping costs are borne by LPE ONLINE - LA PETITE ÉTOILE if the Product delivered to the Customer is different from the Product ordered or if it is delivered damaged.
